Anchor Verse:
Proverbs 3:6 (NLT) – “Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
In a Nutshell:
God is not just present in church services or prayer times—He is with us in every moment of our daily lives. Learning to recognize His presence throughout the day brings peace, direction, and confidence.
Unpacking the Word:
Have you ever gone through an entire day without thinking about God? It’s easy to separate our “spiritual life” from our “everyday life,” but the truth is, they were never meant to be separate. In the sermon, we were reminded that God’s presence is with us constantly—we just need to become more aware of it.
Proverbs 3:6 encourages us to seek God’s will in all we do, not just in the big decisions but in the small, everyday moments. When we start recognizing that God is with us at work, in conversations, in struggles, and in victories, our perspective shifts. Instead of feeling alone or uncertain, we walk in confidence, knowing He is guiding us.
Jesus modeled this lifestyle—He was constantly aware of the Father’s presence. He prayed regularly, but He also carried that connection into every interaction and decision. As we practice inviting God into our daily moments, we become more in tune with His leading and experience His peace more deeply.
Pause and Reflect:
- Do you see your relationship with God as something separate from your daily life, or is He part of everything you do?
- How often do you pause during the day to acknowledge God’s presence?
- What are some ways you can remind yourself that God is with you in the ordinary moments?
Faith in Action:
- Set an alarm on your phone as a reminder to pause and acknowledge God’s presence throughout the day.
- Begin your morning by committing your day to God and asking for His guidance.
- Before making decisions today—big or small—pause and ask God for wisdom.
A Moment With God:
Ask God to open your eyes to His presence in every moment of your day. Pray for a heart that remains aware of His guidance and peace.
