Unpacking the Word

The story of our church’s move to this new location is a powerful testament to the transformative power of faith. Despite the apparent lack of resources, the decision to step out in faith paved the way for God’s provision. This mirrors the very first miracle of Jesus, where simple obedience to His word, fueled by faith, turned water into wine. Naaman’s healing from leprosy wasn’t about the river itself, but his eventual faith in the prophet’s word. Peter’s miraculous catch defied logic, yet obedience rooted in faith yielded abundance.
Faith moves us beyond what we can see with our natural eyes and anchors us to God’s promises. Like the two spies who focused on God’s ability rather than the giants in the land, our perspective shifts when we trust in Him. Recalling God’s past faithfulness fuels our present faith and reminds us that He is able to do exceedingly more than we can imagine. Let us not be swayed by sight or circumstance, but keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
