The mighty men who came to David weren’t just warriors; they were destiny helpers assigned by God to protect and support him during his wilderness season and later when he became king.

Every person we encounter falls into one of two categories: they’re either a blessing or a lesson. The challenging people in our lives aren’t accidents—they’re training us for the leadership and character we’ll need for our destiny. That difficult boss might be teaching you patience for when you lead your own team. That friend who betrayed you might be showing you what loyalty truly means so you can be a better friend to others.
