Esther’s story illustrates the power of divine favor. She was an orphan in a foreign land, with no social connections or political influence. Yet when she entered the king’s presence, she found favor not just with the king, but with the eunuch who prepared her. The Bible says she found favor with everyone who saw her. This wasn’t just about her beauty—it was about God’s supernatural favor on her life.

Divine favor opens doors that effort alone cannot open. It causes people to advocate for you without you asking. It makes opportunities appear where none existed before. But notice that Esther still had to show up, still had to be prepared, still had to walk through the door when it opened. Favor doesn’t eliminate the need for faithfulness and preparation.
