June 2: Monday: “From Dump to Divine 🏗️✨”

In a Nutshell

You walk into a room and immediately think, “This is hopeless.” But what if God specializes in taking the most unlikely spaces—and lives—and transforming them into something magnificent? Today we explore how God sees potential where we see problems.

Anchor Verse (NIV)

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28

Unpacking the Word

When Pastor Reuben first saw their new church space, it was a “terrible mess”—holes in the ceiling, bare concrete, divided rooms that needed tearing down. Most people would have walked away. But sometimes God’s greatest works begin in the most unlikely places.

The same principle applies to our lives. Maybe you look at your circumstances, your past mistakes, your current struggles, and think “This is hopeless.” But God doesn’t see what is—He sees what can be. He specializes in transformation. The very mess you’re embarrassed about might be exactly where God wants to demonstrate His power most dramatically.

Faith in Action

What “terrible mess” in your life are you tempted to hide from God? How might God want to use your current struggles for His glory? Action Step: Write down one challenging situation and ask God to show you His potential in it.

A Moment With God

“Father, help me see my circumstances through Your eyes of potential, not my eyes of problems. Transform my mess into Your message. Amen.”
