June 8: Saturday: Sunday: “Ready for Encounter? 🙌🔥”

In a Nutshell

As you prepare for worship today, remember that you’re not just attending a service—you’re entering a house of prayer, rest, and unity where God’s presence dwells. Come expecting transformation, not just information.

Anchor Verse (NIV)

“Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’” – Mark 11:17

Unpacking the Word

Every time you walk into God’s house, you’re entering sacred space—not because of the building, but because of God’s presence among His people. Like the Israelites at Elim with 12 wells and 70 palm trees, this is meant to be a place of rest, refreshing, and spiritual nourishment.

Today, don’t just come as a spectator. Come as a participant in what God wants to do. Come expecting to encounter His presence, receive His word, and be transformed by His Spirit. The same God who turned a “terrible mess” of a building into a beautiful house of prayer wants to do beautiful things in your life today.

Faith in Action

What specific area of your life do you want God to touch during today’s service? How can you prepare your heart to receive what God wants to give you? Action Step: Pray now that God will speak directly to your heart during worship and that you’ll be open to respond.

A Moment With God

“Father, I come today not just to attend but to encounter You. Transform my heart and speak to my spirit. I’m ready to receive what You have for me. Amen.”
