Our mission at Global Harvest Assembly is to build a Kingdom family that is deeply rooted in the Word, firmly planted in the house, and branching out to our community
Through the gospel, worship and prayer we bring God closer to our hearts and closer to the hearts of those around us. As a fellowship of believers, we have the honor of proclaiming the glory of Christ to one another in a loving and caring setting.
We are called to Love God and love people, and through the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we aim to do exactly that.
Senior Pastors
Leading the warm and welcoming community of faith at Global Harvest Assembly are Pastors Reuben and Shantel Seevaratnam! Since Father’s Day 2005, they’ve guided this non-denominational congregation (officially registered with the NECF in 2012). Their passion is clear: to create a place where everyone feels welcome.
Married in 2001, Reuben & Shantel have four wonderful children.
Pastor Reuben, a Malaysian native, has dedicated himself to full-time ministry since 1995. He holds degrees from Flinders University of South Australia and Trinity Theological Seminary in the United States. Beyond his role at Global Harvest Assembly, Pastor Reuben is a leader in the ecumenical prayer movement, Prayer United Malaysia. He serves on the National Executive Committee and leads the Penang chapter, Prayer United Penang.
Pastor Shantel, originally from the United States, joined bi-vocational ministry in 2001, the same year she moved to Penang. She is a graduate of Oral Roberts University and George Washington University. She also works at Dalat International School, where she has been employed in various positions since 2008. She currently serves as the Director of Teaching and Learning.
